Product Overview

The DURAN® GLS 80® wide mouth bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972.
The protect+ safety-coated version combines the best of both worlds: virtually inert USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3 on the inside and a protective plastic safety layer on the outside.

Each bottle is moulded from high-purity ambered DURAN® glass, then coated with a translucent polyamide PA 12 layer that helps reduce the hazards of broken glass and liquid splashes in case of breakage.
The amber coating protects light-sensitive contents from UV exposure, while the graduated scale and Retrace Code ensure traceability and ease of use.

Matching screw caps and pouring rings can be ordered separately. The protective HDPE dust cover supplied with each bottle prevents contamination during transport and storage.
