DURAN® GL 45 Connection Cap System, with screw cap and 2 or 3 GL 14 ports, PP, blue/grey

  • > Rigid or semi-rigid tubing of different diameters can be accepted by using a blue GL 14 open > topped cap with one of the inserts.
  • > Available with 2, or 3 threaded outlets (ports).
  • > Four different tubing diameters (1.6 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.2 mm or 6.0 mm tubing outer diameter) can be used by changing the GL 14 inserts.
  • > By applying positive or negative pressure liquid can be pumped out of or into the bottle via the screw cap.
  • > Fully compatible with all the GL 45 threads and therefore highly versatile.

Product Overview

Flexible modular GL 45 connection cap system that accepts four different rigid or semi-rigid tubing diameters (1.6 mm; 3.0 mm; 3.2 mm and 6.0 mm). The caps are available with 2 or 3 GL 14 threaded ports. The different sized inserts form a tight seal around the pass-through tubing. Sterile pressure equalisation is possible through use of 0.2 μm syringe filter. Unused ports can be sealed off with a red GL 14 screw cap.

Product Overview

The GL 14 caps and tubing inserts allow the DURAN® GL 45 2/3 port tubing connection caps or GL 45 / GLS 80® Stirred Bottle Reactors to be used with four different rigid or semi-rigid tubing outer diameters (1.6, 3.0, 3.2, or 6.0 mm). The different sized inserts form a tight seal around the pass-through tubing when used with the blue GL 14 tubing cap. Sterile pressure equalisation is possible through use of 0.2 μm syringe filter set. Unused ports can be sealed off with a red PBT GL 14 screw cap.
