for reverse filtration
- Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass
- Clarification filtration possible – solids settle on the bottom and a supernatant solution can be filtered off
- With this method, no filter cake is formed, allowing high filtration rates and processing of large quantities of liquid
- Fired-on, highly durable white print
Product Overview
Filtrations are possible in many different ways. A filtration variant at reduced pressure is clarification filtration, in which larger quantities of liquid are to be filtered. In this method, the precipitate is allowed to settle and the liquid above is sucked off through an immersion filter. This prevents the formation of a filter cake which could clog the filter and reduce the filtration speed.
